Get a Library Card

If you live in our library district you may get a library card free of charge, as part of your tax-supported library service. (If you live in the East Dubuque School District you are also in the library district.)  Bring in a current Illinois Drivers License or Illinois photo ID to get signed up for a library card.  You may also check out materials using any current Illinois library card as part of our reciprical borrowing program.

Renew Books

Online Renewal-Click on the "Find A Book" tab at the top of the page.  Enter your library card number.  Your pin number is the last four digits of your library card. Once into your accout you can renew or request items.  (You can access your accout from home or any public computer (dont for get to log out when using a public computer)

Renewals can be made in person or by calling the library.  815-747-3052.  It is helpful if you know your library card number to renew items.  Items may be renewed once.  If you need an item longer you can bring the item into the library and check it out again.
